Sign boards are an item in Animal Crossing. They can be placed outside, where a design can placed on them.

Sign boards can be obtained from Nookway or Nookington's for  500 Bells. Once placed, they can be picked back up. Sign boards can be thrown away. Signs cannot be placed in villages that the player does not live in.
