In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Lamp Posts can be built throughout the player's town as a Public Works Project for and continue to serve as a source of light. There are 6 different styles of Lamp Posts you can place Street Lamp, Round Streetlight, Retro Streetlight, Fairy-Tale Streetlight, Modern Streetlight, and Zen Streetlight.
