Dharma Set
The Dharma Set in Animal Crossing series consists of three furniture items—they are red, egg-shaped wishing dolls known as Daruma in Japanese folklore. When making a wish, the owner of the doll colors in the first eye (usually the right). When the wish has been fulfilled, they then color in the other eye. This is reflected in Animal Crossing by pressing the dharma: one press colors in the previously uncolored eye, followed by a drumming noise. Another press makes the eye blank once more, followed by the dharma shrieking. The larger the dharma, the lower the noises made.
All Dharma have a completely red Feng Shui: placing them on the East side of a room will bring good luck.
