Insect Set
The Insect set is a new furniture set introduced in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, and is obtained from Nat during the Bug-Off in summer. The furniture pieces are shaped like bugs from the main game. Like the Fish set, the Insect set contains the style of items normally found in a series such as chairs and clocks, but it is classified in-game as a set and not a series, because it contains only ten furniture items, while series have eleven items.
Obtaining
If the player gives Nat an entry that breaks the first-place record during the Bug-Off, and the bug scores at least 80 points on his rating scale, he will reward the player with an Insect set item. However, if the bug breaks the first-place record but scores 79 points or less, he will simply give the player an ordinary furniture item found in Timmy and Tommy's store instead.
