Club Nintendo is a Nintendo reward system, where users input codes from major Nintendo games and consoles to receive Coins (or Stars in Europe). Coins may also be earned by completing surveys. These Coins may then be traded for a variety of prizes, including Animal Crossing-related [[merchandise]]. The service was discontinued on June 30, 2015, and was replaced with MyNintendo, which is functionally the same, but with new features added. New rewards were added including Digital Discounts and Miitomo clothes, which can be purchased with Platinum Coins, rewarded by completing missions, like completing tasks in Miitomo or signing into other Nintendo services like Miiverse weekly. The service is connected to the user's Nintendo Network account, so purchases are automatically recorded in the service and reward the user with Gold coins, which function almost the same as Club Nintendo, the only difference being that purchases are for Digital Game downloads only.
