The Bulletin Board was a forum for both Nookipedia editors and Animal Crossing fans in general to host discussions regarding Animal Crossing, the wiki, and almost anything else. Other common topics included playing forum games and discovering new friends to play and trade with in Animal Crossing. Nookipedia staff users also used the Bulletin Board as a way to communicate with each other regarding the wiki. Users had personal profiles where they could have updated their status, and followed other users.
The site became gradually more inactive over the years. Most forum users moved to the the Discord server following its launch on November 12, 2016.
After many months of inactivity, The Bulletin Boards was closed on May 31, 2018, with the site taken offline and archived on June 24th of the same year.
