Merge[edit]
Despite differing from The Roost in Animal Crossing: Wild World and Animal Crossing: City Folk in a few areas, such as the removal of K.K. Slider's performances, take-out coffee, no longer being found within the museum, and the addition of a part-time job, Animal Crossing: New Leaf's Roost is basically an exact carbon copy of The Roost in previous games. In conclusion, I think this page should be merged with The Roost, ideally in its own section. Thoughts?--XXSuperXXNintendoXx 18:15, 21 June 2013 (EDT)

- Normally I'd vouch for a merge, since the two shops are more or less the same; however, seeing how far the article has come, I believe it would be best to keep them separate articles. The current article goes in depth with character visits, part time work, furniture rewards, etc., all of which make it unique and would be too much to merge into The Roost. While The Roost's New Leaf appearance has much more information than Wild World or City Folk, I feel that it could be merged with The Roost article. First, neither of the two articles are very long to begin with, so merging this article wouldn't make it too large a page (combined they would be ~12,000 bytes, which would place it at around the 180th largest page). Second, as far as I can tell, "The Roost Café" is an unofficial name. I'm not sure where it came from, but in-game all that's used is either "The Roost" (seen on the sign outside the building) or "café" (seen on the map and public works project list). Third, it's clear that they're the same location; unlike something like New Horizons's Nook's Cranny, this is the same as the prior incarnations in more than the name—it carries over almost everything from WW and CF, just with more things added in this game. I feel that it would make the most sense to have all the information on The Roost across the series on a single page. ~ AlexBot2004 (Talk) 21:02, April 3, 2021 (EDT)
