Able Sisters is a clothing shop/tailor shop, one of the main stores in the Animal Crossing series. It is owned and run by Sable and Mabel, the Able sisters. The store was owned and run by their parents, until a fatal accident led to the business being handed over to Sable. Sable was left to look after her younger sister, Mabel who at the time was an infant.

The locations are different in every Animal Crossing game. In the original Animal Crossing, it was always placed in the F acres. In Animal Crossing Wild World, it was placed directly east of Nook's shop. In City Folk, it could be placed anywhere in the town.

Designs

Designs are created by talking to Mabel. Designs are player-created items that can be used as paintings, clothing, accessories and floor placings. They allow the player to create customisable objects that best suit their needs. They can be used as clothing, headgear, umbrellas, paintings (to put in your house), wallpaper, flooring or used as tiles to place outside.

PRO designs

A PRO design is a design you can make in City Folk that costs 350 Bells. Unlike most patterns in City Folk, you need to go to the Able Sisters to make one. When making a PRO design, you can customize the front, back, and each sleeve individually, rather than having the same pattern on the shirt. PRO designs take up one pattern slot, and, like normal patterns, can be displayed and used through the Able Sisters.
