Acorns are items that appear exclusively in Animal Crossing: Wild World. They are placed under trees throughout the town by Cornimer during the Acorn Festival and can be gathered and traded for exclusive items in the Mushroom Series. They can be found anywhere in the player's town, though mostly under trees. They cannot be shaken from trees.

After the Acorn Festival, acorns have little use beyond being sold to Tom Nook. They cannot be planted to grow trees or kept for long periods of time, because they will turn into rotten acorns, which may attract ants.
