An Acorn as it appears in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Acorns are items that appear in Animal Crossing: Wild World and Animal Crossing: New Horizons during the fall season.

Appearances

In Wild World

Animal Crossing: Wild World features five types of acorns: Acorns, Large Acorns, Small Acorns, Round Acorns, and Rotten Acorns. They are placed under trees throughout the town by Cornimer during the Acorn Festival and can be gathered and traded for exclusive items in the Mushroom Series. They can be found anywhere in the player's town, though mostly under trees.

After the Acorn Festival, acorns have little use beyond being sold to Tom Nook. They cannot be planted to grow trees or kept for long periods of time, because they will turn into rotten acorns, which may attract ants.

Selling prices

If the player does not trade the acorns with Cornimer for furniture, they can be sold at Tom Nook's store for the following prices:

  • Acorn WW Inv Icon.png Acorn: 80 Bells each
