Acorn

Acorns are items that appear exclusively in Animal Crossing: Wild World. They are spread about the town under trees by Cornimer during the Acorn Festival and can be gathered and traded for exclusive items in the Mushroom Series.Although they seem to come off of the trees they cannot be planted. No matter how many acorns you give Cornimer he will always want more. He will tell you that he can predict the future with acorns,but when he is finished talking he will decide that he cannot tell the future. Despite resembling Tortimer, their shell patterns are diffirent.(Although Tortimer shell is thought to be too.)

After the Acorn Festival acorns have little use beyond being sold. They cannot be planted to grow trees. Rotten acorns may attract ants.Rotten acorns also enrage Cornimer. He will take all of the acorns you have given him without asking you. It is thought that he eats the acorns, so rotten acorns must taste nasty.

Selling Prices

If the player does not trade the acorns with Cornimer for furniture, they can be sold at Tom Nook's store for the following prices:

Acorns are thought to be almost worthless,even to the townsfolk. In fact, the only person who seems to care anything about them is Cornimer, but he deosn`t care too much about them because he is thought to eat them.
