Animal Crossing X Mario Kart 8 is a downloadable content pack (DLC) pack for the Wii U game Mario Kart 8 [2], which will contain content based on the Animal Crossing series, namely the characters Isabelle and the human player. It will also contain a cup based on Animal Crossing, which features a Tom Nook leaf as its logo. It will be released in the US in May 2015 and cost $7.99, taking up 1 GB of space in the Wii U's memory.[1] Prices and release dates for other regions are unknown.

3 new characters. 4 new vehicles and 2 new cups (8 tracks) have been confirmed. All the vehicles and 2 of the characters are currently unknown. All the stats for the characters and vehicles are also unknown.

There are two new cups: one from the Mario series (with a Super Bell as its logo), and one from the Animal Crossing series, with a leaf as its logo.

  • An Animal Crossing themed track, with trees and houses from the Animal Crossing series, and an Animal Crossing logo on the finish line.
  • A jungle and/or arcade themed track.
