Bell
Bells are the currency of the Animal Crossing Series. Bells can be stored in the ABD in City Folk, or in your bank account in Animal Crossing: Population Growing and Animal Crossing: Wild World.

Bells and Wifi
Because almost anything can be done on wifi, bells are much easier to get and spend over wifi. Many members give people bells for free. They also give away Royal Crown's, because they sell for 300,000 bells, more than you can hold in a bell bag. Many people also hold yard sales or auctions, where they have used items they no longer want and try to get members to offer more than it could be sold to Nook.
