Boars are a species in the Animal Crossing series very similar to the Pig species, although the term "boar" tends to refer to wild, non-domesticated pigs. Two boars (Joan and Daisy Mae) have appeared in the series to date, both of whom sell turnips to the player in their respective games. In addition, Joan is Daisy Mae's grandmother.[1]
