Bob is a purple cat with darker purple polka dots, half-closed, lazy yellow eyes, light purple paws, and a striped tail. He wears the blossom shirt, which clashes with his deep-purple fur. The inside of his ears are pink, and his tail is striped purple, and darker purple. Humoresly, he is commonly mistaken for a girl.

" Are you here to hang out, (player)? Then you came to the right place, pthhhpth!"
— Bob, Animal Crossing: City Folk

Template:Infobox villager Bob (ニコバン, Nikoban) is a lazy villager who has appeared in every game of the Animal Crossing series. His name is probably based off the word bobcat. There are rumors which say he is the first Animal Crossing series character, being born on January 1st, though there is no proof of this. His initial phrase, "pthhhpth", maybe a reference to the sound a cat makes when coughing up a hairball.

Appearance

Bob is a purple cat with darker purple polka dots, half-closed, lazy yellow eyes, light purple paws, and a striped tail. He wears the blossom shirt, which clashes with his deep-purple fur. The inside of his ears are pink, and his tail is striped purple, and darker purple.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the lazy personality. For more information, click here.

As a lazy villager, Bob will be easy to get along with due to his laid-back lifestyle. Like all lazy villagers, he shares a love of food and relaxing. In Animal Crossing: Wild World, he will mention his dream of diving in, for example, a pool of creme brulee. He will enjoy partaking in the usual hobbies, usually for relaxing reasons or for food, when fishing. He will get along well with other villagers, but may offend or confuse jock villagers, who have a conflicting lifestyle of exercise and fitness, compared to the lazy lifestyle of relaxing and food.

House

Bob house includes items from the Kiddie Series. His home in every Animal Crossing series includes most of the Kiddie Set, along with the Kiddie Wall and Kiddie Floor. His kiddie stereo plays K.K. Ragtime. In the Game-Cube version, he has an "N" logo.
