Bruce (ブルース, Burūsu) is a deer villager in the Animal Crossing series. He is a new character, first appearing in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, though he makes an appearance in a Japanese-only manga adaption of the series. His catchphrase is probably a reference to the fairy tale, "The Three Billy Goats Gruff", and is the name of another cranky villager.

Appearance

Bruce is blue with dark blue highlights around his eyes, his ears, arms and legs, as well as having two stripes of dark blue in between his antlers. His antlers are striped cream and brown. His ears appear to be orange, and he has black hooves. He initially wears an after school jacket.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the cranky personality. For more information, click here.

Bruce is a cranky villager, meaning he is mature, bitter and adult-like. He appears somewhat rude at first, but is very reliable and friendlier when befriended. He gets along well with most snooty villagers and other cranky neighbors, but will sometimes offend jock and peppy villagers unintentionally, as he does not clearly understand their lifestyle. Bruce has a harsh sense of humor, but is very hospitable and kinder once the player enters his home.

House

Bruce's home is very urban, as most of his furniture can normally be found in busy streets and alleys. An oil barrel, striped cone and iron frame are placed in the southern corner of his home, while a bicycle, telephone box and basketball hoop may be found in the northern area of his room. K.K. Blues plays on his stereo, which is placed on top of a sleek table. The hopscotch floor is featured in his home.
