Bunnie (リリアン, Ririan, Lilian) is a peppy rabbit villager from the Animal Crossing series. She has been in all of the Animal Crossing games. Her name is simply derived from "bunny". Her Japanese name may refer to knitting spools (commonly known as lilian in Japan) which often come in a rabbit-like "Y" shape. She appears on the back of the case of the Animal Crossing: City Folk right by the 'Meet the neighbors' paragraph.
Appearance
Bunnie is a chalky, burnt-orange rabbit with a creamy beige face and arms that are tipped the same color as her head; her bunny tail and legs are the same color, too. Her face has pink blush and a big smile. Her eyes are kind-of anime styled in a pointy diamond-like way with a sparkle in them. Her ears are peachy orange on the inside and held high in the air. Her initial clothing is the Flicker Shirt in Animal Crossing. In Animal Crossing: Wild World and Animal Crossing: City Folk her initial shirt is the Jade Check Print, which is a green and yellow-checked shirt with red and yellow stripes that cross at certain squares.
Personality
Bunnie is a peppy villager and enjoys collecting pink furniture from the Lovely Series. Often times, she will say she "dreams" of pink furniture and will say "I GOTTA have pink furniture", or she will ask the player for some. Bunnie is a very sweet rabbit who is very friendly with others of her species. She loves talking. Usually, she mentions things about clothes, especially when she speaks of a certain type of shirt. She also loves stew. She does not want much but to live in a good town and have good friends, all having a good time together. She often says things such as "Um", "Like", and "Totally" in between her sentences, much as how other peppy villagers would. Her initial phrase, "tee-hee", might be related to the sound someone makes while giggling, which tends to be connected to a peppy personality. Almost everyone gets along with her because of her can-do attitude and her "Get-along with everyone!" motto, although she can be quite ditsy at times. Bunnie also seems to enjoy gardening.
House
Bunnie's house has lots of lovely furniture that she seems to never get rid of (most of the other players empty their house of their old furniture). She sometimes includes a brown teddy bear. She has wood paneling on her walls and a parquet floor in all games but Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Her record player plays "K.K. Aria." She has been shown to enjoy having a house near a river, lake, or the ocean.
