Cally (named Sally in Animal Crossing) is a normal squirrel villager in the Animal Crossing series. She first appeared in Doubutsu no Mori and after her appearance in Doubutsu no Mori e+, she remained absent from the series until Animal Crossing: New Leaf, where she was renamed Cally. Her original name has been used another villager, formerly known as Hazel, since Animal Crossing: Wild World.
In New Horizons, Cally has the nature hobby and may be found reading a book pertaining to an item she is studying, which can be either flowers, bugs, fish, or fossils.
Characteristics
Appearance
Cally is a coffee colored squirrel with substantially red rose cheeks and oval shaped eyes that are high up on her face with black pupils. Her tail is pinstriped chocolate brown with creamy white in a swirl. Her head is oblong in shape and she has a regular, typical smile. She has three brown stripes on top of her head.

Cally has a normal personality. She is shy and caring, and may get upset easily. When she asks the player for favors, she often compliments their speed (even if it actually takes a while). She wakes up at 5 AM like other normal villagers, and will appear inside towards the middle of the day. She will enjoy partaking in the usual hobbies and not worry about her appearance with a shovel or fishing rod, like snooty villagers. She will get on well peppy and jock villagers, appearing as a "older" sister to them. She may become upset or offended when talking to cranky villagers, who enjoy gossiping or being cruel about other villagers.
