The catch quote for the Blue Marlin in New Horizons

A catch quote (conjectural name) is the phrase the player uses upon catching a fish, bug or sea creature in the Animal Crossing series. It begins with "I caught a [blank]", followed by a comment, often a pun or some other kind of joke relating to the creature's name, rarity, or value. For example, when the player catches a Sea Bass in Animal Crossing, the player will say "I caught a sea bass! See? Bass! (Why do I keep saying things like that?)".

The catch quote for a particular species changes from game to game, although the same general joke may be used again. There are also catch quotes for trash, as well as various other items.
