The Eel family is a family of fish in the Animal Crossing series. Before City Folk, this was not a family, due to the non-existence of the Moray Eel in pre-existing games. The family, despite being composed of only three members, is notable because all of the fish are long and thin, and the regular Eel and Ribbon eel have a unique 'long and thin' shadow size.
