Animal Crossing Ahead is one of the larger Animal Crossing series fansites on the internet. It is currently unknown who founded it, although it is likely shurst2004 or RoverDEAD. The forums were founded in 2008 under the domain acforums.megadoomer.com. The forums grew in popularity. On February 21st, 2009, a new look was released for the site, that had the Bulletin Board as a news area on the front page of the website.
