Animal Crossing Ahead is an internet forum which was originally one of the larger Animal Crossing series fansites and one of the first fansites for game. It was founded by Nickolis in the summer of 2002 after breaking off from another fansite called Animal Crossing Online. The forums were originally located at the domain acforums.megadoomer.com. They grew in popularity for several years until declining due to multiple server problems and inactivity. On February 21^st, 2009, a new look was released for the site, which featured the Bulletin Board as a news area on the front page of the website. However, the website and forum were completely shut down in 2015.

On February 27th 2020, Animal Crossing Ahead relaunched as www.axaforums.ca with many original users returning.
