Donkey Kong Jr. is an arcade game later ported to the Nintendo Entertainment System. The NES version can be played in Animal Crossing and Doubutsu no Mori e+ by interacting with the Donkey Kong Jr item. It is a sequel to Donkey Kong.

Gameplay

The player controls Donkey Kong Jr., who must rescue his father Donkey Kong, who has been captured by Mario. Donkey Kong Jr. must climb to the top of each level, climbing vines and avoiding enemies, and collect the key to move onto the next level. On the fourth level, Donkey Kong Jr. must push six keys up into their keyholes, freeing Donkey Kong and causing Mario to fall down.

In Animal Crossing and Doubutsu no Mori e+, the Donkey Kong Jr furniture item can be obtained from Tom Nook by entering a secret code that could be obtained from the official Animal Crossing website.
