The Dump is an open area in Animal Crossing and Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival where a player can drop off unwanted items. The Dump takes up one acre. About two items can be found there each day. These items are taken away on Monday and Thursday, 6am. In Animal Crossing: Wild World and Animal Crossing: City Folk, the dump was replaced with the recycling bin, which can be found in the Town Hall. In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, this feature is absent.
