Explorer's Day

Template:Event Infobox Explorer's Day is an event in Animal Crossing, Animal Crossing: City Folk, and Animal Crossing: New Leaf. It is the Animal Crossing equivalent of Columbus Day, held on the second Monday of October.
Event
On Explorer's Day, Tortimer can be found outside of the Town Hall. If the player speaks to him, he or she will receive a Bottled Ship. In City Folk and New Leaf, players speak to Tortimer or Isabelle to receive a Sailboat model. Also, players can use the nearby sign to take a picture.
