The Father's Day is an event where the player's father writes to the player. It usually occurs in the third Sunday of June, however, like Mother's Day, the date is different in some regions.

Father's Day is an event where the player's father writes to them, even though Dad is not quite as avid as a writer as Mom. If the player talks to Tortimer, he will give them a locomotive model.
In Animal Crossing: Wild World
Dad or Mom will send the player a letter.
In Animal Crossing: City Folk and Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Dad will send the player a letter with a red carnation attached, similar to receiving a pink carnation on Mother's Day. If the red and pink carnations are planted next to each other, a white carnation may appear within a few days.
Dates
- Italy/Spain: March 19
- Korea: May 15 (player must speak to Tortimer to obtain red carnations)
- Germany: May 3 - June 2
- Japan/US/UK/France: Third Sunday in June
