Fishing Rods are used to catch fish. Catching fish is essential to the game if the player is to complete the Museum. Silver and Golden Fishing Rods lure fish from farther away distances.

Catch every fish and then talk to Mayor Tortimer (who greets the player outside their house). This rod attracts lots of fish.

Purchase from the Museum Shop after donating at least thirty fish and deep sea creatures to the museum.

Receive from Chip after collecting every fish in the game.
