Template:Event Infobox The Flower Fest is a competition to see which villager can get the best garden, only appearing in Animal Crossing: Wild World. It begins on the second Monday of April and ends at dawn on the following Monday, lasting an entire week.
Tortimer will preside in the Plaza and no special visitors will be seen except K.K. Slider. Each day, provided the player speaks to him, Tortimer will give them a different bag of flower seeds.
The winner of the Flower Fest receives a trophy for their efforts. This is easy to obtain - flowers can simply be stolen from the town's residents which increases the thief's chance and decreases the villager's.
It is unknown what the boundaries for a flower to be counted as "In garden" or "Wild". Other villagers only ever seem to plant flowers less than two spaces away from their houses. Some think that the player is less likely to win if there is no clear path to their house without trampling flowers.
Players can cheat at this by planting patterns all over the neighbor's homes, preventing any flowers from growing and thus eliminating all competition. Using this method, the player can win by planting just one flower.
