Gabi is a rabbit villager with a peppy personality who has appeared in all Animal Crossing series titles so far. Her Japanese name is from a Russian style of stove used for cooking and home heating. Her catchphrase relates to her species, "bun" being a shortening of "bunny." She appears on the cover of Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival, standing in front of the Town Tree, where she is hosting the Board Game mode. In Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, her request is "A room with a piano," which is a reference to the composer and pianist Ludwig van Beethoven, who shares a birthday with Gabi. Her name is also the Japanese name of a cranky cub villager.
Characteristics
Appearance
Gabi is a white rabbit with a black nose, six pink freckles (ten in Animal Crossing: City Folk and earlier), pink inner ears, and brown feet, paws, and a tail. She also has a tuft of brown hair. Gabi resembles Tiffany and Ruby, but unlike her they originally appeared in Doubutsu no Mori e+ and Animal Crossing: Wild World respectively.

As a peppy villager, she will appear cheerful and friendly. To some people, Gabi can appear rude. She has a short attention span and may have the tendency to overreact about small things. She will be easy to befriend, taking comfort in those she talks to most. She may, however, feel insulted when talking to snooty or cranky villagers, who may gossip about her or disagree with her style. However she gives out comfort to jocks, who are the equivalent to the peppy villagers. She also gets along well with normal, lazy, uchi, and smug villagers.
