Grams (ゲコ, Geko) is a green turtle (kappa in the Japanese version) that appears in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. She is Kapp'n's mother, and along with the rest of his family, works in the hut on Tortimer Island. She sells items there, which can be purchased with medals. On the player's first visit to Tortimer Island, she will get scared if the player tries to talk to her.

Description

NTSC-U: The eldest turtle on the tropical island, Grams runs the souvenir counter. She'll trade you island-themed goods in exchange for the medals you earned during tours. Among the things she sells are flower-patterned muumuus, but Leila thinks they look best on Grams. PAL: Want ocean-themed souvenirs? Look no further than the shop on Tortimer Island! They don't even cost a single Bell - Grams only takes medals. You might be tempted by the adorable muumuus on sale, but no one could look better in one than Grams herself. At least, that's what her granddaughter, Leila, thinks.
