Hedgehogs are a type of villager in the Animal Crossing series. The Able Sisters - who run the clothes shop - fall under this type of villager, as does the City Folk character, Labelle. The three hedgehogs reveal more about themselves and their family after players talk to them for a while. It takes twelve days (ten in Animal Crossing: New Leaf) to become a friend of Sable.
