The Herabuna is a fish that only appears in Doubutsu no Mori and Doubutsu no Mori+. It can be found in the River Pool at any time of the day and year, but its peak months are March, June, and August to September. They are similar in size to the Crucian Carp and share the same in-game sprite, suggesting that these are actually the same fish, despite appearing in-game as separate organisms. In Animal Crossing and Doubutsu no Mori e+, the Herabuna is replaced with the Brook Trout.
