Hinamatsuri, or Girl's Day, is an event in the Animal Crossing series that occurs on March 3. It is officially celebrated in Doubutsu no Mori+ and in Japanese towns in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. It appears as a Nook Shopping seasonal event beginning in the 1.8.0 Free Update of Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Appearances

In Doubutsu no Mori+

During Hinamatsuri in Doubutsu no Mori+, Tortimer will appear near the shrine. If spoken to, he will give the player a Lovely Phone. In Animal Crossing, this item is instead obtained on Mother's Day.

In City Folk

Although Hinamatsuri does not appear in Animal Crossing: City Folk, a Girl's Day Wig was distributed in Japan via WiiConnect24 in celebration of the event.

In New Leaf

The event plaza during Hinamatsuri in New Leaf.

In Japanese towns in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Isabelle appears in the plaza on Hinamatsuri and will give the player a Rice Cake if spoken to.

In New Horizons
