Hisashi Nogami (born 1971) is the Deputy General Manager at Nintendo EPD. He has been employed at Nintendo since 1994, when he was hired during the Dentsu Game Seminar. His first project was Yoshi's Island where he worked as a character, and background designer. He would then go on to work on Yoshi's Story, WaraWara Plaza, The Mii Channel[1], and all of the Animal Crossing series.[2] He co-directed Animal Crossing with Katsuya Eguchi. After Animal Crossing, Nogami went on to direct Animal Crossing: Wild World, and Animal Crossing: City Folk. He is also the producer of Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, and the Welcome Amiibo update, aswell as supervisor of Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp.
