Hornsby is a lazy, rhino villager from the Animal Crossing series. His name is a play on the horn on his head. Although his files from Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer can be found, Hornsby is absent from that game.
Characteristics
Appearance
Hornsby is a blue rhino with yellow horns and pink ears with smaller black insides. Hornsby also has black eyes pointing in opposite directions, which appear to be pointing to his back when viewed to the side. On the back of Hornsby's head is dark blue stripes. Oddly, Hornsby's artwork for Animal Crossing depicts him with his eyes half-closed, despite them being fully open in-game. This is corrected in his Welcome amiibo artwork.

Hornsby is a lazy villager, meaning he enjoys sleeping and eating. Cranky villagers will admire his laid-back lifestyle. He will not get along with jock villagers, due to their love of exercise. He will be very friendly and will not get mad at the player often, making him easily to befriend.
