Iggly is a jock, penguin villager. As a jock villager, he will appear friendly and competitive towards the player. His name is based on the word "igloo," and his catchphrase is based on "waddling," the way penguins walk. His debut was in Animal Crossing: City Folk.

Iggly is a white and dark turquoise penguin, possibly a magellanic penguin, with pink cheeks. Due to these features, he may be mistaken for female. His feet and beak are yellow and he is quite chubby.

As a jock villager, Iggly will have an interest in health and fitness, often combining fitness with ordinary conversations with other villagers and the player. He may be seen talking to other villagers, criticizing their physical fitness, either resulting in the other villager walking off angry, or them admitting that they are not fit and walking off happy that they have received honest advice, depending on the villager type (cranky, peppy, etc.).
