The stationary only appears in Animal Crossing: City Folk and is used to gain access to Crazy Redd's, the black market located in the City. The stationary can be sent from a villager once asking them about Crazy Redd's. To ask a player about Crazy Redd, the villager will tell you about Crazy Redd and then the next day, they will send you an invitation in the mail. The player will receive one stationary piece after each purchase at Redd's store.
