Invitation
An Invitation is a unique piece of stationary that cannot be purchased. The stationary only appears in Animal Crossing: City Folk. It is used to gain access to Crazy Redd's. The black market located in the City. A villager will mail the player the stationary. This event occurs after the player asks them about Crazy Redd's. The stationary takes one day to arrive. Players will receive one stationary piece after each purchase at Redd's store. This stationary can then be sent to other players who can redeem it for access. In return the sender will receive 1,000 Bells. Villagers already have memberships. After the stationary is obtained, players can enter Crazy Redd's. A membership fee of 3,000 Bells is required. It can be obtained from a villager, another player, a character at the city, or from Crazy Redd himself, via mail.
Some villagers say that the invitation should not be shown to Copper.[citation needed]
