The Athletic Jacket can be obtained from Mabel before building Able Sisters, or from the shop once it has opened for 960 Bells.

This item is worn by Al, Bam, Charlise, Hazel, Lucha, and Stinky as their default outfit.

In Happy Home Paradise, this item is unlocked for use in designing when doing a vacation home request for Al, Bam, Bruce, Faith, Hugh, Kody, Miranda, Rocket, Rooney, Sparro, Teddy, and Vivian. The item can also be unlocked when tasked by Lottie to design the school. In addition, the item can be used to change the clothing of a villager or the player either during or after the designing process for screenshot purposes. Villagers will wear this top when they are exercising, unless gifted other valid outfits with the "Sports" AITag Label, such as Baseball Uniform, Cycling Shirt, and Sports Tank, among others. They will also wear an Athletic Jacket during Fishing Tourneys and Bug-Offs.
