The Bell-Bag Rug can be obtained from the Nook Miles Redemption for  1,200 Nook Miles. The item could also be obtained from the Bank of Nook as an apology for the decreased interest rates after downloading the 1.2.0 update.

In Happy Home Paradise, this item is unlocked for use in designing when doing a vacation home request for Chevre, Drago, Egbert, Gala, Pudge, Rod, Rowan, and Samson.
