The Capricorn ornament is a houseware furniture item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It is part of the Stars Series. As a wardrobe, this item allows the player to change the clothing they are wearing and customize outfits they have stored on their wand.

The Capricorn ornament can be obtained from crafting, which requires star fragment, Capricorn fragment, gold nugget, and 12× stone. The recipe for this item can be obtained from Celeste or from message bottles found on the Star Fragment island via Kapp'n's boat tours.

This item appears as a furniture item in the homes of Julian. As a result, this item has a chance to be purchasable by the player if they were invited by any of the preceding villagers.

In Happy Home Paradise, this item is unlocked for use in designing when doing a vacation home request for Beardo, Elvis, Lucky, Nan, Pierce, Ruby, Tiffany, and Zell.

In the designing process of Happy Home Paradise, Tiffany requires this item to be placed in or outside their vacation home.

Description

When giving the Capricorn ornament to Celeste, she will say the following:

"The gods were enjoying a fantastical banquet by a river when the terrible monster Typhon appeared! Unprepared as they were for a fight, the gods assumed various animal shapes and fled with all speed. But Pan, the goatish god of shepherds, jumped into the river, transforming as he did so. Perhaps because he was so shocked, he did not finish changing himself into a fish, and only changed his tail. The chief god, Zeus, was highly amused at the sight of a goatfish, and hung the image in the stars. I feel sort of bad for Pan in that story, having a constellation based on this embarrassing incident It would be a bit like someone making a billboard of you while you were changing your clothes!"
