The Fruit Basket is a miscellaneous item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. As a miscellaneous item, it can be placed on either the ground or on top of a tabletop. It is part of the Fruits Series.

The Fruit Basket can be obtained from crafting, which requires Apple, Pear, Cherry, Orange, and Peach. The recipe for this item can be obtained through Cranky villagers.

This item appears as a furniture item in the homes of Annalise, Audie, Claudia, Hugh, Maddie, and Tangy. As a result, this item has a chance to be purchasable by the player if they were invited by any of the preceding villagers.

In Happy Home Paradise, this item is unlocked for use in designing when doing a vacation home request for Anicotti, Apple, Ava, Beau, Bertha, Bettina, Blaire, Chelsea, Cheri, Ellie, Goose, Keaton, Merengue, Mint, Olive, Opal, Patty, Piper, Portia, Rilla, Skye, Tangy, Tia, and Zoe. The item can also be unlocked when tasked by Lottie to design the hospital.

In the designing process of Happy Home Paradise, Apple, Bertha, and Cheri require this item to be placed in or outside their vacation home. It also appears in lazy villagers' initial homes.
