The gold helmet is a headwear item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The item can be worn by the player.

The gold helmet can be obtained from crafting, which requires 5× gold nugget. The recipe for this item can be obtained from smug villagers, either when they are crafting in their house, or when the player receive their message bottle from the beach.

In Happy Home Paradise, this item is unlocked for use in designing when doing a vacation home request for Klaus, Knox, and Rowan. In addition, the item can be used to change the clothing of the player either during or after the designing process for screenshot purposes.
