The golden axe is a tool item in Doubutsu no Mori+, Animal Crossing, and Doubutsu no Mori e+. It is unbreakable, unlike the normal axe, which can only be used 72 times. The golden axe does not appear in Doubutsu no Mori, where the normal axe is unbreakable.

The golden axe can be obtained from Farley at the wishing well after a perfect town environment status has been maintained for 15 days straight. In Doubutsu no Mori+, the shrine itself will grant it. The golden axe cannot be sold.
