The Knitted-Grass Backpack can be obtained from crafting, which requires 20× Clump of Weeds. The recipe for this item can be obtained from normal villagers, either when they are crafting in their house, or when the player receive their Message Bottle from the beach.

In Happy Home Paradise, this item is unlocked for use in designing when doing a vacation home request for Bertha, Bunnie, and Mathilda. In addition, the item can be used to change the clothing of the player either during or after the designing process for screenshot purposes.
