The Libra Scale is a miscellaneous furniture item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. As a miscellaneous item, it can be placed on either the ground or on top of a tabletop. It is part of the Stars Series.

The Libra Scale can be obtained from crafting, which requires Star Fragment, Libra Fragment, and Gold Nugget. The recipe for this item can be obtained from Celeste.

This item appears as a furniture item in the homes of Ankha and Julian. As a result, this item has a chance to be purchasable by the player if they were invited by any of the preceding villagers.

In Happy Home Paradise, this item is unlocked for use in designing when doing a vacation home request for Chevre, Diana, Grizzly, Pierce, Pudge, Rodeo, Rowan, and Samson.

In the designing process of Happy Home Paradise, Samson requires this item to be placed in or outside their vacation home.

Description

When giving the Libra Scale to Celeste, she will say the following:

"The goddess of justice, Astrea, had a set of scales that could measure whether someone was good or bad. But she didn't have much use for them until Pandora opened the box that brought evil into the world. I guess someone thought they were interesting enough to hang in the sky as the constellation, Libra, though. I do wonder why she had those scales already, though... Were the gods...up to something?"
