The Mermaid Fence is a fence item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons introduced in the 1.7.0 Free Update.[nb 1] As a fence item, it is used akin to a tool to place a fence down. Despite its name, the Mermaid Fence is not considered part of the Mermaid Series.
The Mermaid Fence can be obtained from crafting, which requires 1× Pearl, 5× Coral, and 5× Sand Dollar. The recipe for this item can be obtained from Pascal after giving him the Scallop.
Notes
- ↑ The official patch notes for version 1.7.0 claim the item was introduced in the 1.3.0 Free Summer Update (Wave 1) but had an unobtainable DIY recipe due to a bug.[1] However, only the model for the item was introduced in version 1.3.0, and it did not have a DIY recipe and could not be used as an item.
