The otoshidama envelope is an item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons introduced in the 2.0 Free Update. It is used to wrap Bells, converting the envelope to a otoshidama.
The otoshidama envelope can be obtained from Nook Shopping for 500 Bells from December 22 to January 5 during the Shōgatsu Nook Shopping seasonal event.
