The Red Carpet can be obtained from Saharah either by selecting the "Medium rug" option when Saharah is visiting the player's island for  1,500 Bells or from Saharah's Co-Op on Harv's Island for  1,800 Bells.

This item appears as a furniture item in the homes of Baabara, Bill, Boris, Chester, Cranston, Curlos, Doc, Gala, Knox, Lucy, Moose, Rocket, Sandy, Tasha, Tex, and Tiffany.

In Happy Home Paradise, this item is unlocked for use in designing when doing a vacation home request for Astrid, Baabara, Becky, Big Top, Cherry (Villager) Cherry (Villager), Chrissy, Cookie, Drago, Elise, Elvis, Eugene, Fang, Felicity, Gala, Genji, Grizzly, Hornsby, Judy, Kidd, Klaus, Knox, Lolly, Moe, Muffy, Paula, Reneigh, Rod, Tex, Tiffany, and Weber.
