The tea table (ちゃぶだい chabu dai?) is a furniture item in Doubutsu no Mori, Doubutsu no Mori+, Doubutsu no Mori e+, and Dòngwù Sēnlín. It is part of the Japanese Theme. Its surface functions as a tabletop, allowing smaller items to be placed on top of it.

In Doubutsu no Mori, this item appears in the homes of Cyrano, Lucy, and Tabby.

In Doubutsu no Mori+, this item appears in the homes of Cyrano, Lucy, and Tabby.

In Dòngwù Sēnlín, this item appears in the homes of Cyrano, Lucy, and Tabby.

For villagers who have this item placed on the floor in their house, there is a chance that the villager will gift it to the player.

Version differences

Leftover dummy item

The dummy model used by unused items in Animal Crossing.

In Animal Crossing, the tea table is still leftover in the game data as a dummy item, unobtainable without gameplay modification or glitches. It has the unused name "tea table" and uses the dummy model, a white triangle with red Japanese text reading ダミー (damī, dummy). Its name was also translated to other languages in the European version of Animal Crossing, with the name "mesita" in Spanish, "table à thé" in French, "Tisch (klein)" in German, and "tavolo da tè" in Italian.
